South Texas Dental, which has provided affordable care to Texas families for more than 20 years, has introduced orthodontics for children, teenagers and adults.
Orthodontic care is now available at South Texas Dental offices in Dallas, 1515 S. Buckner; Fort Worth, 4200 S. Freeway in La Gran Plaza; and Arlington, 1604 New York Ave. with additional offices introducing the service in the coming months. Until then, patients from any South Texas Dental office can visit any of the company’s three orthodontics offices for a free consultation.
South Texas Dental’s credentialed orthodontists recommend an initial phase of care for young children, ages 6 – 8, when spacers can be used to move teeth more easily, making room for new teeth as children get older. A second phase of care is recommended for children ages 11-13. The two-phase approach is credited with reducing the overall length of treatment.
Orthodontic care with clear braces also is available for adults to address bite issues, crowded teeth, abnormal jaw pain and a desire for a more confident smile. According to the American Association of Orthodontists, one in five orthodontic patients is over the age of 21.
All three South Texas Dental orthodontics offices use state-of-the-art technology, and create customized treatment plans for each patient. They also offer free initial orthodontics consultations with x-ray for new and existing patients.
